I’m Ginger, a college professor turned stay-at-home mom of three pint-sized, high-spirited world changers. I have a Ph.D. in English from Baylor University and an oversized apron stained with spaghetti sauce, toddler tears and love.

I am also a pastor’s wife, teacher and writer with Everest-sized dreams of partnering with Jesus to inspire you. To inspire you with words of hope. To inspire you with whispers of grace, better yet, with shouts of it. Because we’re real people, am I right? Living real lives. With real problems.

And we need it.

We need grace and real answers from a real God in the midst of it all.

For I have faced dark nights and long desert roads. I have wrestled with questions that have no answers, doubts I cannot push aside. And it’s made me thirsty. Desperately thirsty for authentic and experiential spiritual understanding that reaches beyond the status-quo, beyond the ruts of religiosity, and beyond a superficial understanding of God.

So I go deeper.

I take a shovel to God’s Word and dig.

And what I uncover I try my best to put into words so that you and I both can know Him more. So that we can together get rooted deeper in God’s love. Deeper in His grace. Deeper, because when we do, we rise and can be all God has called and created us to be. We can live a life fulfilled, a life satisfying and rich in His grace.
